How we made it... Nutritional values

The symbol of Balocco's Christmas: made  only with sourdough, high quality Italian fresh milk, eggs from free-range hens, scented candied orange peel of Sicily, fine Diamante cedar and delicate sultanas. The Italian hazelnut icing, handcrafted, is enriched with almonds and sugar flakes.


wheat flour - raisins 13% - butter - candied orange and citron peels 8,6% (orange peels 43% - glucose-fructose syrup - sugar - candied citron peels 11% - acidity regulator: citric acid) - hazelnuts glaze 7,4% (sugar - rice flour - hazelnuts 7,2% corresponding to 0,5% of the total ingredients - peanut oil - powdered egg* white 2,5% corresponding to 0,2% of the total ingredients - wheat flour - flavourings) - fresh egg* yolk 7,3% - sugar - natural yeast 6,5% (wheat flour - water) - fresh pasteurized milk 3,6% - almonds 2,3% - invert sugar syrup - frosted sugar 1,7% - emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids - salt - natural flavourings.
